A cozy stay in Hethersett
The welcoming atmosphere at Hethersett Lodge was unforgettable, especially the delightful breakfast with fresh croissants and a large communal table that brought guests together. Ray even helped book us dinner at a nearby pub, which added to the friendly vibe.
Though the room was comfortable, the Wi-Fi situation could have been better, as I had to rely on mobile data for my internet needs, which slightly hindered my stay.

Welcoming hosts and a cozy stay
My stay was made memorable by the exceptional hosts, Ray and Loren, who were incredibly accommodating and genuinely warm. I especially appreciated how Ray reserved a table for me at a local pub, which was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had restful nights thanks to the great mattress and shower pressure. One thing that could be improved is the breakfast variety. it could use some fresh options to enhance the experience.

unique historical lodge building, quiet village location, proximity to Norwich city centre
The decor screams 70's and feels cluttered!!! Bathrooms are in desperate need of modernization!!! Carpet hygiene needs serious attention!!! The lack of adequate signage made finding the lodge quite challenging!!!

would definitely recommend for a weekend excursion
Comfortable bed, powerful shower, and a welcoming atmosphere in the farmhouse kitchen made for a pleasant stay, especially with the kind and attentive service provided by the hosts.
Nothing could be improved.

Had a fun stay with friends! We explored the beautiful countryside and visited the local pub, which was a great spot for dinner. The hosts were super nice and helped us with local tips. Don’t miss the breakfast—lots of tasty options to choose from!
One downside was that there was no Wi-Fi available during our stay, which made it hard to stay connected.

The room was clean and ideal for a family with children, providing a cozy space to unwind. Breakfast options included continental items, though the variety left something to be desired, lacking freshness and presentation. While the decor added a quirky charm, it felt outdated, and there was a noticeable lack of Wi-Fi connectivity. On a brighter note, Chinese dishes from local takeaway options provided a satisfying alternative for dinner, and the hosts were genuinely friendly, offering helpful local insights.

I had a delightful stay at Hethersett Lodge! Ray was so welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and fresh with a super comfortable memory foam mattress. It’s a short walk to the local pub where we had a fabulous dinner. Breakfast had a nice variety too.
Steep stairs could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

A homely and welcoming stay
I had a lovely time at this charming lodge, where the hosts, Ray and Loren, created such a warm atmosphere that I felt right at home. The breakfast was delightful, featuring a good selection of cereals, croissants, and fresh fruit that catered to everyone’s taste. My room was cozy and comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep, which was exactly what I needed after a long day. One thing that could be improved is the lack of WiFi, but it didn’t greatly detract from my stay as I had mobile data at hand.
